Did you know?

Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.

CBG is actually referred to as the "Mother Cannabinoid" as it is the precursor to all other cannabinoids such as CBD and THC.

Meaning that CBD and THC are actually being produced from CBG.

CBD vs. CBG

CBG, like CBD, is non-psychoactive. This means it does not produce the characteristic "high" associated with THC.

Suspected Effects of CBD: Relaxing, Calming. Ideal for evening use.

Suspected Effects of CBG: Uplifting & Energizing. Perfect for a boost during the day.

Special CLEAN G. Tip: Mixing CBD & CBG for an improved effect (entourage effect).

During the cannabis plant's growth, CBGA (the acidic, inactive form of CBG) is converted into other cannabinoids like THCA and CBDA, as the plant matures.

While CBG is, in most cannabis varieties, only present in the early stages of the plant's growth, some cannabis strains have been selectively bred to contain higher concentrations of CBG than usual while expressing no CBD at all and very low amounts of THC (<0.2%).
